12 African Ministers has been confirmed to present and showcase their countries’ investment and mineral potential at Africa Down Under (ADU) 2017. African Ministries from Nigeria, Ivory Coast, South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, Guinea, Mali, Zambia, Equatorial Guinea, Ethopia, Botswana, Senegal have confirmed to attend ADU 2017, which will be held in Perth, Western Australia.
ADU has proved there is enough resilience in both the mining sector and the region to allow for a new generation of mines to prosper in the coming decade. This positive swing in sentiment will continue to boost optimism in the sector when Africa once again descends on Perth in September for the 15th edition of ADU!
Furthermore, Paydirt, ADU conference organizer, has announced the launch of a new business matchmaking initiative – MANDJAR: Meeting Point, offering unprecedented value to ADU sponsors.
MANDJAR (derived from the Aborginal word meaning Meeting Point) will enhance ADU sponsor participation by facilitating one-on-one meetings between mining companies and institutional investors, financial sector executives, analysts, bankers and brokers, as well as asset and fund managers.
A dedicated online platform will be available – exclusively accessible only to ADU sponsors and qualified investors. This initiative has been created to help sponsors maximise their networking opportunities throughout the conference, and come face to face with investors, enabling them to showcase their growth strategies to key stakeholders within the mining investment and finance fraternity.
