The 6th annual Powering Africa: Nigeria investors’ summit takes place in Abuja on 4-6 October, where Nigeria’s policy makers will be gathering to engage with proven investors and showcase top line investment opportunities in the power sector to drive forward Nigeria’s energy potential.
This year’s Summit will benefit from the participation of the Administration and national agencies of the National Council on Power (NACOP), the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN), National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN) and the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) amongst others. Having the official endorsement of these organisations, together with the official support of the Senate Committee on Power, Steel, Development and Metallurgy, the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development, Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing, Federal Republic of Nigeria, the summit will address the most recent updates from the Nigerian ministries with regards to the Power Sector Recovery Program (PSRP), which was approved by the Federal Executive Council of Nigeria to boost the required high-quality and reliable stable power for Nigeria’s industrial and economic growth.
