Amec Foster work will include detailed engineering and procurement activities and the preparation of an open book estimate which will serve as the basis for the subsequent project phases. This initial phase of work is set to finish in late 2015, with the overall project due for completion during the fourth quarter of 2017.
“We are delighted to have expanded our involvement with the Çöpler Gold Mine”, said Roberto Penno, Amec Foster Wheeler’s Group President for Asia, Middle East, Africa & Southern Europe. “We look forward to drawing upon our global expertise in delivering world class gold projects, as well as our extensive in-country presence, to deliver this important project for Anagold Madencilik, safely and sustainably”.
