Anadarko Denver-based geologists and geoscientists recently visited an 85-million-year-old outcrop of the Niobrara formation near Lyons, Colo.
The Niobrara formation is a target for many of the horizontal wells Anadarko is currently drilling in Colorado’s Wattenberg field.
