John Agyekum Kufuor FPSO vessel ready to set sail to Offshore Ghana

The launch ceremony was held in Singapore for the floating production, storage and offloading unit (FPSO) “John Agyekum Kufuor”. The unit will operate in the Sankofa-Gye Nyame field in the Tano basin, in offshore Ghana, for the Offshore Cape Three Points (OCTP) project which will provide domestic gas to national power plants for more than 15 years.

Offshore Cape Three Points (OCTP) is an integrated oil and gas development project that is making an important contribution to energy access in Ghana. The development of national gas resources in Ghana is a high priority to improve access to energy in the country.
