Knick to showcase Transducers for Electrolyzers and Fuel Cells  at World Electrolysis Congress 2024

Knick will be presenting its robust solutions for voltage, current and temperature monitoring in hydrogen applications at the World Electrolysis Congress 2024 taking place from March 5 to 6 2024 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The Transducers and isolated signal conditioners, which the measurement technology specialist will be exhibiting at stand 30, are already proving themselves in use in electrolysers and fuel cells. High voltage transducers from the P40000 series with basic insulation up to 3,600 V offer an extremely safe and long-term stable solution for high-precision monitoring of stack or string voltages, currents and temperatures. Thanks to their conservative and fully encapsulated electronic design, the Transducers achieve an MTBF of 2165 years. They are also characterized by excellent transmission properties with an amplification error of less than 0.3 % and, like all Knick products, do not require recalibration over their entire service life.

The Transducers of the P40000 family are also optionally available with reinforced insulation up to 1800V.

The P29000 series High voltage transducers are a safe and proven solution for monitoring stack voltages up to 1000 V DC.

The compact devices with a test voltage of 5.4 kV AC guarantee protection against dangerous body currents in accordance with DIN EN 61140 by safely isolating the input from the output and from the auxiliary power supply up to 600 V AC/DC.

For applications in which smaller numbers of electrolytic cells or only partial stack voltages up to 200 V DC are to be measured, isolated signal conditioners from the P27000 series are used. Thanks to their basic insulation up to 1000 AC/DC, P27000s enable the safe measurement of smaller voltages at high potentials.

It is Knick’s policy to carry out product modifications or new developments according to customer-specific requirements for particularly demanding measurement challenges on request.
