LUKOIL Produces Half a Millionth Ton at Imilor-Istochny, Western Siberia

LUKOIL has produced half a millionth ton at Imilor-Istochny License Area in Western Siberia – a major milestone, considered that only a year and a half passed since pilot production had commenced.
LUKOIL is active with geological exploration and retests wells of state fund, slating commissioning of over 40 wells for 2016.
A license for use of subsoil reserves at Imilor group of oil fields was issued for 25 years in January 2013. The first early oil of Imilor-Istochny License Area was produced in October 2014, twenty months after the license had been obtained.
