Positive vibes flowing globally for the LNG industry
Learn from industry leaders, policy makers and government officials at LNG 18
Eni S.p.A. – the Italian oil and gas multinational – is positive about the outlook for liquefied natural gas (LNG) and sees European demand increasing significantly. Eni Midstream Gas & Power Officer Mr Umberto Vergine said a strong stream of new LNG projects will provide abundant supply, supporting further market liquidity and growth of LNG demand worldwide.
Japan-based JERA Co. Inc. President, Mr Yuji Kakimi, also mentioned recently that a more fluid Asian LNG pricing market can be expected to emerge over the next decade. He says that the global LNG sector should expect to see new buying and pricing trends emerging as the industry moves to one of greater supply volumes and greater choice in sourcing LNG.
The addresses by Mr Vergine and Mr Kakimi are just two examples of headline presentations in an outstanding line-up of highly respected international LNG experts in the LNG 18 plenary and concurrent sessions. Other industry leaders will speak in the plenary program including the CEOs from Chevron, Shell and Woodside who will open the Plenary Program on the topic of The Transformation of Gas.
In addition, highly ranking government officials such as The Hon Colin Barnett, Western Australian Premier, The Hon Josh Frydenberg, Federal Minister for Resources, Energy and Northern Australia and The Hon Julie Bishop, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Australian Federal Government, will present and discuss their views about the LNG industry.
