On May 31 – Rosneft Board Chairman Igor Sechin met Sherif Ismail, Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and Tarek El Molla, Board Chairman of Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC).
At the meeting both parties discussed development of cooperation between Egyptian companies and Rosneft. The Company is interested in expanding the scope and areas of cooperation with its Egyptian partners.
Since the start of 2015, Rosneft has been certified counterpart for Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC). The Company participates in all tenders for spot petrochemical and liquefied hydrocarbon gas (LHG) supplies to Egypt. So far, Rosneft has won the right to supply 425,000 mt of oil products totaling about $150 mln for supplies in April June 2015.
