B20 in Paris: W20 Present four major driving force for women inclusion in the global economy
Paris, May 29, 2018 – During the meetings of the Task Forces of B20 made under the OECD Forum in Paris, the W20 affinity group made a presentation session and discussion of their work areas. The W20, which works toward the full economic development of women, shared his perspective on the four fundamental pillars for the inclusion of women in the economy and set out to find points of joint work with other groups to ensure that proposals do not leave in disadvantage women.
In addition, Susana Balbo, chair of Women 20, participated in the panel moderated by Gabriela Ramos in which he spoke about the prospect and development opportunities for women in the future of work. “For both men and women, the future of work will provide numerous opportunities in different aspects. Governments, organizations and businesses G20 should commit to ensuring that women do not face the same restrictions to access to work, finance and productive resources face today , “said Susana Balbo.
The work week under the stage of international dialogue of W20, began the day 28 with the participation of Susana Balbo Berlin Forum Global Solutions Summit, where the main topics of the G20 were addressed, including the future of work and the international economy. The forum was attended by the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Angela Merkel, senior representatives of the governments of the G20, as well as the Nobel Prize winners George Akerlof and Edmund Phelps and officials of the OECD, the United Nations and the world Bank.
