Submissions for TheAWARDS 2025 are now open! Held as part of the prestigious European Liquid Gas Congress, these awards recognize outstanding innovation, leadership, sustainability, and safety in the liquid gas sector. Winners will be announced during the exclusive Gala Dinner on May 21, 2025, in Katowice, Poland.
TheAWARDS celebrate the outstanding contributions of individuals and businesses in the European liquid gas sector. Created for industry professionals, theAWARDS focus on recognising innovation, safety, leadership, and sustainability achievements. This initiative highlights those addressing Europe’s energy challenges by promoting greener, safer, and more efficient solutions.
The 2025 edition will feature six award categories introduced last year.
- TheLEADER: Honors exceptional leadership in the liquid gas sector
- TheINNOVATOR: Recognises groundbreaking innovations shaping the industry’s future.
- TheSAFETYGUARDIAN: Acknowledges initiatives that enhance safety standards
- TheRESEARCHER: Celebrates significant contributions to research and development
within the sector. - TheSUSTAINABLE DRIVER: Rewards leadership in advancing sustainability within the
sector. - TheRENEWABLE PIONEER: Recognises advances in renewable energy integration,
particularly with renewable DME and LPG.
Ewa Abramiuk-Lété, General Manager of Liquid Gas Europe, commented on the significance of theAWARDS: “In 2024, we introduced the European Liquid Gas Awards to highlight the incredible innovation, sustainability, and safety work happening across Europe. It’s important to recognise and celebrate these projects. The AWARDS provide a platform to showcase these efforts to a broader audience and inspire others in the industry.”
The jury for The Awards 2025 will include esteemed industry experts with deep knowledge of the energy sector, including:
- Ewa Abramiuk-Lété, General Manager of Liquid Gas Europe
- David Appleton, Vice President of Business Development LPG, Europe, Middle East, and
Africa at Argus Media - Jobst Diercks, Chairman of the Board, German Liquid Gas Organisation
- George Webb, Chief Executive, Liquid Gas UK
Two additional jury members will be announced soon, enhancing the panel’s expertise.
The AWARDS offers international recognition from industry peers for companies and individuals leading in sustainability and innovation.
Natacha Cambriels, General Manager at Butagaz and winner of theLEADER Award emphasized the significance of events like this in recognizing those driving change: “I was incredibly proud and pleasantly surprised to receive this award, making it a wonderful occasion to celebrate.
