Nigeria’s Kachikwu elected president of African Petroleum Producers’ Organization

Kachikwu emerged leader of APPO Monday morning at an event organised by the association in Abuja.
The opening ceremony of the Extraordinary Session of the Council of Ministers of APPO was declared open by the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, where Michel Boukar, the out-going president of the association handover to Kachikwu.
Ibe Kachikwu was the president of the APPO where he handed over about two years ago.
In his inaugural speech, the Minister promised to take APPO to the next level, while thanking the former leader for a job well done.
