PETAN successfully host the Largest Petroleum Event in West Africa

The West African International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (WAIPEC) 2017 commenced officially on the 22nd – 23rd February 2017 at Eko Convention Centre, Lagos – Nigeria. WAIPEC 2017 was hosted by Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN), a Nigerian indigenous organization that represents oilfield services and technology companies operating across upstream through to downstream projects. PETAN’s aim of hosting the event is to “Unlocking Value in the West African Oil & Gas Industry”
PETAN is a leader in the promotion of innovative engineering and creative solutions, that help advance the petroleum industry both nationally and regionally.
WAIPEC was established in order to address the needs of companies seeking to showcase their innovative solutions and new technologies, and to support the development of major new business and partnerships to benefit West Africa’s petroleum economy.
WAIPEC 2017 attracted thousands of visitors and delegates from across the west african region and was attended by high level industry experts, operators, CEOs, IOCs and representatives from foreign companies that operates within the petroleum industry.
