Some of BP’s top leaders will be speaking in panel discussions and delivering technology presentations at the 2017 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC), the world’s largest oil and gas trade show at Houston’s Reliant Park.
The programs and sessions featuring BP speakers will include:
- Keynote speech by Richard Morrison, regional president, Gulf of Mexico: How Oil and Gas Companies Can Adapt to the New Challenges of Operating Safely and Efficiently in the Deepwater.
- The Next Wave – Building Tomorrow’s Leaders in Oil and Gas: Strategies and Ideas to Excel in the Present Day Climate. Panelists include Cindy Yeilding, senior vice president, BP America; Yulia Mercer, senior counsel, BP America; and Kerry Dryburgh, head of human resources, Upstream.
- Industry Breakfast: Mauritania and Senegal’s New Offshore Gas Developments, Bernard Looney, chief executive, Upstream.
- Mad Dog Field: A Multi-Disciplinary Look at the Opportunities, Technology, Challenges and Learnings of a Giant Deepwater Field Development. Panelists include Cindy Yeilding; Aleida Rios, vice president of operations, Gulf of Mexico; Doris Reiter, vice president performance; Bill Steel, Mad Dog 2 project manager; and Pramod Singh, former vice president, reservoir development.

BP experts and leaders will also participate in a number of technical sessions and presentations during the four-day conference.
The Offshore Technology Conference, held annually in Houston, was founded in 1969 by 12 engineering and scientific organizations as a response to the growing technological needs of the global ocean extraction and environmental protection industries.
OTC brings together over 90,000 industry leaders and buyers from more than 120 countries.
The conference ranks among the largest 100 tradeshows held annually in the United States and is among the 10 largest meetings in terms of attendance.
