Registration Now Open for WAIPEC 2018 Exhibition

Floorplan has doubled in size for 2nd edition with over 200 exhibitors confirmed to participate

Registration is now open for visitors to secure their attendance at the West African International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (WAIPEC 2018) exhibition, featuring over 200 specialised companies showcasing their latest products and services, including many of the leading international and regional energy companies and service providers, regional and national oil companies.

The eagerly anticipated WAIPEC 2018, hosted by the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN) will return to the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos from 7-8th February 2018. Set to tip the scales, WAIPEC stands as not only the largest event in the centre of Nigeria’s oil and gas hub, but also the only truly industry led event, held in partnership with the country’s petroleum sector.

Following huge demand, the inaugural edition in 2017, the WAIPEC 2018 exhibition has doubled in size and is already projected to attract more than 6,000 visiting professionals from across West Africa, Europe, Americas and Asia, rivalling all oil and gas events throughout Nigeria.

Bank Anthony Okoroafor, Chair of PETAN explains; “With the floorplan already at 60% capacity, we are very glad to report that the exhibition is going from strength to strength doubling in size from last year with a loyal following and promising genuine return for our participants across the board.”

He added, “The exhibition specifically is designed to give direct access to the primary stakeholders and key players in the Nigerian and West African supply and value chains. It will feature many leading national and international organisations including; The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Chevron, Lee Engineering, Nestoil, Equatorial Guinea, PetroSa and OiLSERV.”

The WAIPEC exhibition will run alongside a leading conference, which is set around the theme ‘New ventures in West Africa; driving oil and gas production through innovative strategies. Content will focus on unlocking strategic value, leveraging innovation, best practices and technology that will grow West Africa’s energy industry.
